The Galaxy S22 Ultra combines the camera capabilities of the Galaxy S series with the S Pen, which was popularised by the Galaxy Note series. The phone has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and HDR 10+ support. Its maximum brightness is 1750 nits. The display is clear and responsive, and it accepts input from the S Pen Stylus.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of RAM power the phone. It has storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB. Storage is not expandable, but the default storage is sufficient. The Galaxy S22 Ultra can easily run any app or game from the Play Store. Under load, the phone does become warm.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a quad-camera setup with 100X digital zoom. Regardless of the lighting conditions, the phone takes stunning photos. Even without night mode, the phone can take decent photos in low light. The primary camera can record video in 8K resolution and is stabilised.

2. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4

galaxy z fold 4,samsung fold 4,samsung z fold 4,galaxy fold 4,samsung,samsung galaxy,fold 4 samsung,samsung galaxy z flip 4,z fold 4 samsung

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 was unveiled on August 10, 2022, at the summer installment of its Galaxy Unpacked events. Customers could start pre-ordering that same day, with a general sales date of August 26. Additional products launched at the same time included the Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.

At the end of the day, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 isn’t all that different from its predecessors. Just like always, it resembles a “normal” smartphone in its folded state — albeit a very thick one. Nevertheless, if you unfold it like a book, you’ll discover the large foldable display hidden underneath. Its outer display allows it to provide a traditional smartphone experience while its inner display offers a tablet-like experience for when you need more space.

3. Vivo X80 Pro

The X80 Pro is Vivo’s flagship replacement for the X70 Pro+. While the phone appears to have minor cosmetic changes, there has been a significant change on the inside.

The X80 Pro is powered by a new and improved Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which is now paired with Vivo’s updated V1+ imaging chip, which improves imaging and gaming performance.

Its 6.78-inch display remains mostly unchanged, but it is still a high-end one with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution, making it quite sharp. The Vivo X80 Pro has a 4,700mAh battery that charges via an 80W charger as well as wireless charging at 50W.

The cameras have also been upgraded. The primary camera now has a 50-megapixel Samsung-made GNV sensor, and Vivo has moved its unique gimbal stabilisation technology to the 2x Portrait camera for better Portrait photos in low light.

4. Vivo X80

Vivo’s flagship smartphone lineup for the year, the Vivo X80 series, was just released. It includes two phones: the Vivo X80 5G and the X80 Pro 5G. (review). While the latter is a true flagship with all the bells and whistles you’d expect, I’m carrying the former. With a starting price of Rs 54,990, it falls into the premium category and, despite the lack of the ‘Pro’ suffix, borrows heavily from its more accomplished sibling.

The X80 is also the first smartphone in the country to include MediaTek’s most powerful chipset to date, the Dimensity 9000. I’ve done a comparison between the SoC and the best Qualcomm has to offer, which you can read about here. The Vivo X80 5G does take a significant chunk out of your wallet, so only a thorough review can tell if the device is worth its hefty price tag. Let’s find out together in this comprehensive review of the Vivo X80 5G.

5. iQOO 9 Pro

The iQoo 9 Pro is a strong offering in the premium segment, with a slew of features and impressive core hardware. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset provides adequate performance for everyday use as well as hardcore mobile gaming.

The 6.78-inch AMOLED display is designed for gaming, with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 300Hz, but it is also quite colour accurate and delivers deep blacks when viewing videos. The stereo speakers are also quite loud and immersive.

The camera’s performance is excellent. All three cameras perform admirably in both daylight and low light. The gimbal stabilisation on the primary camera also works well for daylight video recordings, but the quality suffers slightly when shooting at night.

The 4,700mAh battery in the iQoo 9 Pro easily lasts a day and a bit more on a single charge and charges up quickly using the included 120W charger. There’s also 50W wireless charging via the company’s own charging dock. While the phone looks and feels premium, it lacks an official IP rating, which may be a deal breaker for some.

6. Realme 9 Pro+ 5G

The Realme 9 Pro+ moves the 9 series from the mainstream to the mid-range segment. The 9 Pro+ is more expensive than the 9 Pro and includes features such as optical image stabilisation (OIS) in the camera, which has been absent from Realme’s lineup for quite some time.

The Sunrise Blue Sunrise Blue finish is available on the Realme 9 Pro+. If you select this option, the back panel will change from blue to red when exposed to UV light. It has a slim overall profile and is quite light, making it suitable for one-handed use.

With its MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, the phone has enough power to handle demanding 3D games as well as day-to-day tasks. The battery life is also quite good, and it charges quickly thanks to the included 60W charger.

The performance of the still camera is quite impressive. The primary camera’s OIS system captures clear and crisp photos in bright sunlight and also performs well in low-light conditions. Realme UI 3.0 is also included with Android 12, as are the majority of its highlight features.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Realme-Midnight-Black-128GB-Storage/dp/B09SVC5CMP” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

7. Samsung Galaxy S22+

The Samsung Galaxy S22+ does not have any advantages over the Galaxy S22. It has a similar design but is slightly larger and comes in the same RAM and storage configurations as the latter.

In India, it, like the Galaxy S22 and S22 Ultra, is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has a large Dynamic AMOLED display that is ideal for gaming and video streaming. With casual use, its larger battery makes it a two-day smartphone. The camera quality is excellent, as are the video recordings.

Even in low light, the cameras capture high-quality photos and video. Charging speeds are faster than those of the Galaxy S22, but not as fast as those of the competition.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-Phantom-Storage-Additional-Exchange/dp/B09SH9DVL3″ style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

8. OnePlus 10 Pro

The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G offers some much-needed improvements over the 9 Pro, and with only a minor price increase, it’s not a bad deal. Even the most expensive variant of the 10 Pro 5G costs less than the base models of the Samsung Galaxy S22 and iPhone 13, making it a good buy. The OnePlus 10 Pro 5G has a larger battery with faster charging, a slightly more power-efficient AMOLED display, a more powerful SoC with plenty more 5G bands, a better selfie camera, and a nicer design than the OnePlus 9 Pro.

With the exception of a few minor issues, such as the occasional overheating when recording 4K/8K videos in hot weather and the slightly lower quality of the ultra-wide camera compared to the OnePlus 9 Pro, the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G is yet another solid flagship from OnePlus, offering very good performance and features for the price.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/OnePlus-Volcanic-Black-128GB-Storage/dp/B09V2P9C3S” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

9. Realme GT 2 Pro

This phone comes with a 2K AMOLED flat screen with LPTO 2.0 to facilitate an immersive display and clear picture quality. Furthermore, HDR 10+ and up to 1.07 billion colours featured in this smartphone create a mesmerising sensation and bring every content to life.

This phone features an innovative Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that delivers a seamless performance and smooth operation.

This phone’s large Stainless Steel Vapour Cooling Max system reduces core area temperature by up to 19 degrees Celsius, ensuring a comfortable temperature across the system and protecting critical zones from overheating.

A large battery integrated into the sleek body of this phone, which measures around 8.18 mm, lends it a slim appearance. Furthermore, this phone weighs around 189 g, providing a feather-light experience that is constantly entertaining.

This smartphone features 65 W SuperDart charging, allowing you to binge-watch your favourite TV show and providing up to 21 hours of video playback, allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted streaming even on long journeys without worrying about battery life. Furthermore, you can charge your phone to 100% in about 33 minutes and get back to work without wasting much time.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Realme-GT-Pro-Steel-Storage/dp/B09YGGN7HC” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

10. Xiaomi 12 Pro

The Xiaomi 12 Pro is a worthy competitor in the premium smartphone market. The phone’s design is premium and made of glass and metal, but it lacks an official IP rating, which may be a deal breaker for some.

It has a beautiful curved display that is Dolby Vision and HDR10+ certified. There is also a quad stereo speaker setup, which enhances the video streaming experience. The phone’s gaming performance is excellent, but it does get hot when playing demanding titles at the highest settings.

The camera performs admirably in both daylight and low light, but the telephoto lens struggles to focus in low-light situations. Video recording is impressive and works well in all resolutions, including low-light situations.

The phone’s battery life is quite good, and it easily lasts a day and a half. Using the included 120W charger, charging the device is extremely fast.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Xiaomi-Storage-Snapdragon-Flagship-Cameras/dp/B09XB9FLSH” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

11. iPhone 13 Pro Max

The iPhone 13 Pro Max is Apple’s largest iPhone, but unlike previous generations, it has no feature advantage over the iPhone 13 Pro. The large display is great for games, and the increased battery capacity allows for nearly two full days of regular use. Although the display has a refresh rate of 120Hz, there is still an unsightly notch that interferes with movies. The A15 Bionic SoC provides excellent performance. You can choose between storage capacities of 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. The main new camera-related features are Cinematic Mode and Photographic Styles. In addition, the camera hardware has been improved over the previous generation. Macro photography is now possible, and the optical zoom has been increased to 3X. Despite its exorbitant price, the iPhone 13 Pro Max represents the pinnacle of the iPhone lineup.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Apple-iPhone-Pro-Max-128GB/dp/B09G9H3RZH” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

12. iPhone 13 Pro

Except for a smaller battery and display, the iPhone 13 Pro has the same hardware as the iPhone 13 Pro Max. You get sensor-shift stabilisation for the primary camera, and you can take macro photos for the first time. Optical zoom is also available up to 3X. Apple has released new camera features such as Cinematic Mode and Photographic Styles. Aside from that, the new A15 Bionic SoC performs admirably. Storage capacity can be increased to 1TB, though the most expensive variant is prohibitively expensive. The 120Hz ProMotion display is a significant improvement, but there is still a distracting notch. Games and apps run smoothly, and the stereo speakers sound great. The build quality is excellent, and the iPhone 13 Pro is more comfortable to hold and use than its larger sibling.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Apple-iPhone-13-Pro-128GB/dp/B09G99YPQM” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

13. iPhone 13 Mini

Other than the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 13 mini is unique in that every other manufacturer has abandoned smaller-sized premium smartphones. It’s portable and easy to use, but the screen is a little small for reading, and the battery life suffers slightly. The Apple A15 Bionic SoC provides more than enough power. Storage starts at 128GB and increases to 512GB, but this phone is pricey. The cameras are excellent, capturing fine detail both during the day and at night. However, macro photography is not permitted. The screen’s refresh rate is low, and the notch can be distracting, but everything appears bright and crisp.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Apple-iPhone-13-Mini-128GB/dp/B09G9L2B3L” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

14. iPhone 13

The iPhone 13 has a few minor improvements over the iPhone 12, but you may find that the previous year’s model is a better value. This phone has a bright, vibrant 6.1-inch OLED screen, but it only has a refresh rate of 60Hz and has an annoying notch. The A15 Bionic SoC is powerful enough for gaming and heavy apps. The cameras are versatile and produce high-quality stills and video, and they include the same Cinematic Mode and Photographic Styles features as the more expensive iPhone 13 Pro. The battery life is adequate but not exceptional. Everything runs smoothly on iOS 15. Storage options include 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. In terms of features and performance, the iPhone 13 mini is comparable.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Apple-iPhone-13-128GB-Blue/dp/B09G9BL5CP” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

15. Vivo X70 Pro+

The Vivo X70 Pro+ is a high-end flagship smartphone that finally ticks all of the boxes. Unlike the Vivo X60 Pro+, the X70 Pro+ includes all of the features that a premium smartphone should have, as well as some unusual camera features.

The curved-edge display has been upgraded to a WQHD+ resolution panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 billion colours, delivering natural-looking colours and high brightness. It also supports HDR10 and HDR10+ for video streaming.

The phone foregoes the X60 Pro+’s faux leather back in favour of an elegant matte-finished glass back that is smudge-free. Along the sides is a matte-finished metal frame.

Software and overall device performance were not an issue with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor. The games ran smoothly with no hiccups, and the phone did not get hot while playing.

Camera hardware and performance have improved noticeably. OIS is available on all four rear cameras, ensuring not only high-quality photos but also smooth video.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Glaslux-Vivo-X70-Pro-Plus/dp/B09R7TC5DQ” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

16. Motorola Edge 30 Fusion

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion aims to strike the right balance by combining flagship-grade hardware with a premium design. The device is positioned between the Motorola Edge 30 5G and the Motorola Edge 30 Pro, both of which were released earlier this year. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is priced at Rs 42,999 and comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has a glass back and an aluminium frame in terms of design. The phone is water and dust resistant, with an IP52 rating. Because of its slim and lightweight design, the device has a great in-hand field. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is 7.45mm thick and weighs only 175 grammes.

The software performance is also very good. The Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is powered by the Android 12-based MyUx skin, which provides a close-to-stock Android experience. On top of that, you get some useful customization options like Moto gestures, wallpapers, and so on.

With a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, the phone promises smooth performance. It also comes with a 4400mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging out of the box.

Camera performance is shaky, as the phone struggles to capture accurate skin tones when photographing human subjects. Otherwise, the main camera performs admirably.

The camera performs admirably in daylight, but the same cannot be said for the ultra-wide and macro cameras. The phone takes good photos in low light, but its performance is inconsistent. The battery life is quite good, lasting about a day and a half on a single charge.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Motorola-Edge-Meteor-Grey-128/dp/B0B1VH5S5K” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

17. Oppo Reno 8 Pro

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G is a premium smartphone from the company known for its premium design. The phone is slim and elegantly designed with glass and metal.

The display becomes quite bright, and the colours appear vibrant. It has a thin bezel all around, which adds to its overall premium appearance. The phone’s display is also HDR10+ certified, and streaming supported content works as expected.

The device is powered by Oppo’s ColorOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12. Everything functions properly, and Oppo’s O-Haptics vibration system improves the software experience.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/OPPO-Reno8-Pro-Glazed-Green/dp/B0B7J6VTBF” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

18. Nothing Phone 1

The camera performs admirably in daylight, but the same cannot be said for the ultra-wide and macro cameras. The phone takes good photos in low light, but its performance is inconsistent. The battery life is quite good, lasting about a day and a half. The premium build quality, vibrant display, good primary camera, and clean Android experience are some of the features that really stand out on the Nothing Phone 1. The glyph lights are a nice differentiator, but you may or may not find them useful in everyday life. The secondary cameras, particularly in low light, are in desperate need of improvement right now. Better stabilisation and features for video recording could also be beneficial.

Phones like the Xiaomi 11T Pro and iQoo 9 SE offer comparable specs and features at a lower price. There is, however, nothing quite like the Phone 1 right now if you want a phone that looks completely unique while still having all of the essential features.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nothing-Phone-Interface-camera-display/dp/B09Z6R6C7C” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

19. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is a premium smartphone that now caters not only to the fashion-forward but also to the general user looking for something unique and special in Android smartphones.

Its design is slightly improved over the previous model, but thanks to a smaller hinge, it can now accommodate a larger battery, which, combined with the new processor, has significantly improved its battery life.

The displays appear to be the same as before, with no size changes. The cover display provides no additional functionality and provides a rather limited experience by forcing the user to open the main display.

Even though the camera setup appears to be the same on paper, photo quality has improved. The same can be said for the low-light video quality, which was an issue with the previous model.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Samsung-Galaxy-Storage-Additional-Exchange/dp/B0B8SVGBL4″ style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

There’s also Continuous Shooting, Digital Zoom, HDR Mode, Touch to Focus, Exposure Compensation, Face Detection, and ISO Control. A 16MP f/2.0 Primary Camera has also been installed on the front for selfies.

The iQOO Neo 6 5G has a 128GB internal memory that is not expandable. Mobile Hotspot, 5G connections, 4G VoLTE network support, Wi-Fi, A-GPS Glonass, USB OTG, and Bluetooth v5.2 are among the connectivity features included.

21. Oppo Reno 8

Discover new possibilities and revel in mind-blowing performance with the cutting-edge Oppo Reno8 smartphone, which is packed with impressive features. This phone has Dual Sony Sensors on the front and back, allowing you to capture captivating images with stunning visuals. Furthermore, the slim design of this phone, with a thickness of 7.67 mm and a weight of approximately 179 g, allows you to make a fashion statement that attracts the attention of onlookers. Furthermore, thanks to the fantastic MediaTek Dimensity 1300 with a magnificent 6 nm architecture, you can enjoy smooth operation and an exquisite user experience.

The Oppo Reno8 smartphone has a 50 MP incredible Sony IMX766 sensor on the back and a fantastic 32 MP IMX709 sensor on the front, which allows for flawless colour replication and allows you to take mesmerising photos with excellent imagery.

This phone’s Ultra Night Video algorithm allows you to capture stunning images even at night. You won’t have to stop photographing wonders because of poor lighting.

22. Google Pixel 6a

The Pixel 6a is a significant upgrade and a step up from the Pixel 4a, Google’s last smartphone to arrive in India. It includes numerous upgrades over the previous model, but at a higher price.

Its design incorporates glass for the display and a plastic panel for the back, which are both held together by an aluminium frame. While it feels solid, the plastic panel is a smudge and dust magnet, making it far from premium.

Because of the 60Hz refresh rate display, software performance is less fluid, but you do get the latest and greatest from Google, which is Android 13 with no bloatware.

Camera performance in all lighting conditions is excellent, but video quality appears to be lacking. The battery life is adequate for a day’s use, but charging is slow.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Google-Pixel-Charcoal-128-RAM/dp/B0B4DMBH5T” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

23. OnePlus Nord 2T 5G

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has minor improvements over the previous model. Its design is mostly the same as before, but there are some minor changes around the back, including a new camera layout.

Its processor has been upgraded to a Dimensity 1300 SoC, which improves performance slightly. The display remains the same as before, with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The phone comes with OxygenOS 12.1 on top of Android 12. It has very little bloatware and only one third-party app preinstalled. Because of the 90Hz display, software performance is smooth and everything feels fluid.

Gaming performance is also quite good. Unlike the original Nord, the phone still lacks a macro camera, but the primary camera can capture decent close-up images. The low-light performance is excellent. The battery capacity remains unchanged, but charging power has been increased to 80W by OnePlus.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/OnePlus-Nord-Shadow-128GB-Storage/dp/B0B3CQBRB4″ style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

24. Realme GT Neo 3 (150W)

The Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) aims to provide a better experience than the GT Neo 2 with a focus on gaming, but falls a little short of expectations in its attempt to provide more features.

Its design is similar to the GT Neo 2, with minor changes to the finish. When compared to the competition, performance with its MediaTek Dimensity 8100 SoC appears to have taken a hit. Gaming performance is adequate but not exceptional in this category.

The camera performs well in both daylight and low light, thanks largely to Sony’s new OIS-enabled sensor. However, it falls short of the competition.

The 150W model comes with a 150W charger, which does a good job of quickly charging the smartphone but heats it up quite a bit.

[su_button url=”https://www.amazon.in/Realme-GT-Neo-Sprint-Storage/dp/B09ZHWD8GG” style=”flat” background=”#ef3c2d” size=”10″ radius=”5″ icon=”icon: cart-plus” icon_color=”#ffffff”]Buy now from Amazon[/su_button]

25. OnePlus 10R 5G Endurance Edition

The OnePlus 10R 5G (150W) replaces the OnePlus 9RT. The phone’s frame and back panel are made of polycarbonate and have a matte finish that does not feel premium despite its ability to reject fingerprints.

Its AMOLED display supports HDR10+, has deep blacks, and can get quite bright. It also has a 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum touch sampling rate of 720Hz, which is useful for gamers.

The phone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8100-Max processor, which is a modified version of the standard Dimensity 8100. According to OnePlus, the customizations will improve gaming and AI performance, as well as low-light video.

The primary camera performs well in daylight, but the ultra-wide-angle and macro cameras perform poorly. The battery life is adequate, and the 150W charging system, which is a highlight of this phone, functions as expected.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 5G looks similar to the older Galaxy A52s 5G, but it incorporates design elements from the new Galaxy S22 series. Thankfully, Samsung has kept the older model’s IP67 dust and water resistance rating, which sets it apart from the competition.

Because the new Exynos 1280 SoC provides budget performance, those looking for a good gaming phone should look elsewhere. The Galaxy A53 5G shares the majority of its core hardware, including camera components, with the Galaxy A52s 5G.

The camera’s performance in daylight is excellent, but it falls short in low light. The video performance is quite good, but it falls short in low light.

With light use, its 5,000mAh battery lasts two days. Although Samsung does not include a charger, the phone supports 25W fast charging. When compared to the competition, charging speeds are slow.

Motorola has included stereo speakers in the mix, which will enhance the overall viewing experience. The Edge 30 Pro has a glass back, which gives it a premium feel in the hand. It does, however, have an odd plastic frame. It weighs 196g, which is noticeable, and its IP52-rated body is splash proof.

32. Oppo Reno 7 5G

The Oppo Reno 7’s new design is appealing. The phone’s rounded frame and curved edges give it a sleek appearance. The Reno 7 also has the same laser-etched pattern on the back as the Reno 7 Pro, which looks good and repels fingerprints. The 6.4-inch AMOLED display is the same as on the previous phone. It has a full-HD+ resolution, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Oppo hasn’t bothered to update the Reno 7’s SoC, which is still the MediaTek Dimensity 900 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The Oppo Reno 7 has the same software experience as the 7 Pro. So far, the Oppo Reno 7 has performed admirably on a daily basis. The SoC is more than capable of handling typical productivity and social apps. The increase in battery capacity to 4,500mAh (from 4,300mAh) appears to have had an effect on battery life.

It’s a good phone overall, with no major flaws, but there are better feature-packed options available online that offer a lot more bang for your buck.

33. Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G

The Reno series’ design has always been a hot topic, and the Reno 7 Pro is no exception. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro’s glass back has a new finish. Oppo claims to have created hundreds of diagonal micro-etches visible from certain angles using a new laser process. The 6.5-inch AMOLED panel provides excellent colour and contrast. It has a full-HD+ panel with a peak refresh rate of 90Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, as well as Corning Gorilla 5 for scratch resistance.

The Oppo Reno 7 Pro features a new MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC. This is essentially a standard Dimensity 1200 SoC with two Reno 7 Pro-specific optimizations. ColorOS 12 is available, but it is still based on Android 11, not Android 12. I played PUBG: New State to see how well this phone handles intense multiplayer games. With all of the graphical settings turned up to their maximum, the gameplay was smooth and the display response was quick.

The new flat screen, stereo speakers, and improved camera sensors are all welcome additions. The battery life is also good, and having super-fast charging is a plus. If you value fashionable looks and quirky camera features over pure performance, the Reno 7 Pro should satisfy you.

34. OnePlus 9RT

Despite its 198.5g weight, the OnePlus 9RT has a good in-hand feel. The aluminium frame’s rounded edges make it easy to hold. It has a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a full-HD+ resolution. The phone’s performance is the second major change. The OnePlus 9RT has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC as the OnePlus 9. OnePlus has even improved the 9RT’s touch response, which can now reach 600Hz (up from 300Hz) in certain games.

The in-display fingerprint sensor is extremely fast at authentication, and navigating the phone’s menus is lightning fast. Switching between apps was also a breeze, and I never felt like I was overtaxing this phone. In our internal test, which loops an HD video clip until the phone shuts down, the 4,500mAh battery lasted 20 hours and 16 minutes. The camera app on the 9RT has been lifted directly from Oppo’s ColorOS. The image quality is good, but the low-light performance could be better.

The OnePlus 9RT is a solid flagship that would benefit from a few thousand rupees off its current asking price to be considered a good buy. If you don’t want to wait, Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung have equally appealing offerings at lower prices.

35. Xiaomi 11T Pro

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is a solid offering at the lower end of the premium smartphone segment that is difficult to overlook. While it lacks in design, it makes up for it in raw performance and is nearly an all-arounder. Its appealing price and additional features (in comparison to the competition) make it an even better deal.

The chassis of the smartphone is made of a polycarbonate mid-frame sandwiched between two sheets of glass. Its AMOLED display is Dolby Vision certified and displays accurate colours. The stereo sound with Dolby Atmos support that comes with the display creates an immersive video streaming experience.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC inside ensures that performance and gaming performance are not compromised. The battery life is also excellent, lasting up to two days of casual use on a single charge. What’s more impressive is the charging speed with the included 120W fast charger.

Camera performance is also on par with the competition. The video recording quality is quite good, and the camera also supports HDR recording. However, the quality of selfies in low light was far from satisfactory.

36. Realme 8s 5G

The Realme 8s 5G resembles the Realme 8 5G in appearance. It has a 6.5-inch display with thin side bezels and a slightly thicker chin. The Realme 8s 5G has a fingerprint scanner on the side. The triple camera module on the Realme 8s 5G protrudes enough to cause the device to rock when placed on a table.

The Realme 8s 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, which is paired with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both models have 128GB of storage, which can be expanded via the dedicated microSD card slot. Realme also has a Virtual RAM feature that allows you to extend RAM by using 5GB of storage. In the box, you’ll find a 5,000mAh battery and a 33W charger. The battery life on the Realme 8s 5G was excellent, and it easily lasted more than a day. The 5,000mAh battery was charged to 94 percent in an hour using the supplied 33W Dart Charger.

The Realme 8s 5G comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel B&W portrait camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It took good photos in daylight, but the lack of an ultra-wide angle camera limits its versatility compared to some of the competition. The camera’s low-light performance was average, though Night mode helped improve the output.

37. iQOO 9 SE

The polycarbonate back panel and mid-frame of the iQoo 9 SE feel and look quite premium. Although there is no official IP rating, you do get two high-quality stereo speakers that sound fantastic while streaming video and playing games.

The phone has a 6.62-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display that produces vibrant colours and is HDR10+ certified, which is uncommon in this price range.

The software experience with Android 12 is smooth and fluid, but the phone comes with far too many third-party apps preinstalled. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC delivers excellent gaming performance, and its 4,500mAh battery lasts a day and a half on a single charge in our tests.

The camera’s performance in daylight is excellent, but we expected more from the ultra-wide-angle lens. The iQoo 9 SE also takes good macro shots, and selfies in a variety of lighting conditions turned out well.
