Actor Rohit Saraf, who plays the younger brother to Hrithik Roshan’s criminal Vedha in the two-hero action thriller movie “Vikram Vedha,” which also stars Saif Ali Khan, is thrilled with the response to the movie.
Rohit plays a pivotal role in the film as it sets the film’s story in motion from the very start. Reacting to the appreciation coming his way, the actor said: “The past week for me has been everything an actor wishes for. Being a part of a film like ‘Vikram Vedha’ was a treat for how much I got to explore as an actor. Being able to attempt a character that’s so far away from who I am as a person, is something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Even though it was difficult, Rohit Saraf continued, “The affection I’ve been getting and the way I’ve been embraced as a ‘Shatak’ just makes all the hard work worthwhile. No matter whose role I choose to play, I am incredibly appreciative of the affection that has always been shown to me. However, I will always hold a special place in my heart for this one. I’m eager to take more chances now that I feel more assured doing so.
The movie “Vikram Vedha” was released in theatres at the same time as “Ponniyin Selvan: 1,” the magnum opus and dream project of director Mani Ratnam.
