Brahmastra Part 1:   Shiva was produced on a budget of approximately Rs 350 crore and was released in English, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The producers announced the title of the second film in the Astraverse universe at the end of the film.

which will be known as 'Brahmastra Part 2: Dev.'

While it has not been revealed who will play 'Dev' in the sequel, there have been rumours that either Ranveer Singh or Hrithik Roshan could play the lead role.

The first film in the trilogy establishes Dev's character, paving the way for an intriguing story revolving around him in the second.

Ayan Mukerji's film also stars Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles. Shah Rukh Khan makes an extended cameo appearance in the film.

The director had previously demonstrated his storytelling abilities in films such as 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' and 'Wake Up Sid.'

To provide some context for Dev, the character is viewed as a superhuman who wishes to acquire 'Brahmastra' in order to become the greatest power ever.
