The Vikram Credit Card has been introduced by Bank of Baroda subsidiary BOB Financial Solutions Limited (BFSL), which is intended for members of the Indian armed forces and law enforcement. The dedicated credit card will assist BFSL’s mission to meet the credit needs of the defence people who selflessly protect us and serve our country, the company said in a statement on Monday.
The unique card was introduced ahead of the 74th Republic Day celebrations to pay tribute to the nation’s protectors for their selfless service and to recognise their bravery and gallantry for the nation.
With the Indian Army (Yoddha), Indian Navy (Varunah), Indian Coast Guard (Rakshamah), and Assam Rifles, BFSL already has special cobranded credit cards (The Sentinel). Defense, paramilitary, and law enforcement employees would all be covered by the Vikram Credit Card.
It is an unlimited credit card.
It offers enticing reward points and a free OTT subscription as an activation gift.
It has a Rs 20 lakh accidental death insurance policy.
