Shaheen Afridi married former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter, Ansha, in a grand ceremony in Karachi.
Ansha Afridi, the daughter of former captain Shahid Afridi, and Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi were married.
On February 4, a lavish wedding ceremony was held in Karachi, and numerous Pakistani cricket players were there.
At the ceremony, Shadab Khan, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, and Sarfaraz Ahmed were spotted.
Last year, Shaheen proposed to Ansha.
Shahid, his father-in-law, announced the union on Twitter.
Daughters bloom with immense blessings, making them the most beautiful flower in your yard. A daughter is someone you share dreams with, laugh with, and love unconditionally. Congratulations to the two of them, I presented my daughter in Nikkah to @iShaheenAfridi as a parent,” he stated on Twitter.
Shahid Afridi also tweeted Shehbaz Sharif’s response to the wedding invitation, in which he wished the newlyweds. “Thank you very much, @CMShehbaz, for your wonderful words about my daughter and her partner as they embark on this new chapter in their lives. Please keep us in your prayers,” Afridi wrote in the post’s description.
Shaheen Afridi has been working out in the nets to get back in shape for PSL 8 after suffering a knee injury last year.
There were times when I wanted to give up, Afridi stated when discussing his rehabilitation regimen. I was only training on one muscle, and it was not getting stronger. I used to tell myself repeatedly during the therapy sessions, “This is enough, I cannot do this.”
But after seeing how well I had performed when watching my bowling on YouTube, I was inspired and pushed myself to “push a bit harder”… Fast bowlers who miss cricket due to injury find it disappointing, he claimed on YouTube.
