Shaheen Afridi became the third Pakistan cricket star to get married this year after getting married to former captain Shahid Afridi’s daughter in Karachi.
Shaheen Afridi, a fast bowler for Pakistan, wed Ansha, the daughter of former captain Shahid Afridi, on Friday in Karachi. Shaheen’s Pakistani teammates attended a banquet that was held later, and the couple’s mehendi ceremony took place on Thursday, according to local sources. Two years have passed since their engagement.
Third Pakistani celebrity to tie the knot this year is Afridi. All-arounder Shadab Khan and fellow fast bowler Haris Rauf got married in January. Shadab was one of the guests at Shaheen’s reception who was captured on camera.
In April 2018, Shaheen played his first T20I for Pakistan against the West Indies in Karachi. Since then, he has participated in 25 Tests, 32 ODIs, and 47 T20 Internationals. He is regarded as one of the best fast bowlers in the world. The 22-year-old has 99 Test wickets, 62 ODI wickets, and 58 T20I wickets under his belt.
Afridi’s rehabilitation with the team’s medical experts in Karachi has restarted, according to information released by the Pakistan Cricket Board earlier this month. Afridi, on the other hand, has experienced knee problems ever since Pakistan’s Test series in Sri Lanka in July. Despite being disqualified from the Asia Cup, he travelled with the team.
