Despite having an equal display size of 6.8 inches with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the S23 Ultra features a slightly flatter display than the S22 Ultra and a display with a better peak brightness of 1750 nits.
With a metal frame and a glass sandwich design, both versions provide a luxury appearance. The Galaxy S23 Ultra has the most recent Gorilla Glass Victus 2, whereas the S22 Ultra has the first-generation Gorilla Glass Victus. While the S22 Ultra is offered in phantom black, phantom white, green, and burgundy hues, the Galaxy S23 Ultra is available in lavender, green, cream, and phantom black.

With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for Galaxy, the new Galaxy S23 Ultra has at least 8/12GB of RAM and 256/512GB or 1TB of internal storage. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is used to power the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which also has 8/12GB of internal storage and either 128/256/512GB or 1TB of internal storage.
