India will enthusiastically celebrate its 74th Republic Day this Thursday. The national flag will be raised on the recently renamed Kartavaya Path, formerly known as Rajpath, where a great procession will take place, by President Draupadi Murmu.
Every year, millions of people all around the country watch on their televisions the rich tradition, cultural legacy, and spectacle of the country’s progress and accomplishments. The public can once again enjoy the splendour of these events on Kartavaya Path this year.
Events include the Republic Day Parade rehearsal, the parade, and the ceremony marking the end of the retreat. The various types and quantities of tickets that are being offered right now, together with their rates, will be listed on the website.
Though there is no entry fee for the Beating the Retreat ceremony, one can buy tickets for the January 26 parade online. The price of tickets is ₹20, 100, and 500 depending on the type of event a person will attend.
To purchase the ticket, one must first create an account. Until January 24, tickets may be ordered between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The person will be led to the login page after enrolling on the portal, where he must log in using his registered mobile number. The user will receive a verification code on their mobile device, and after entering the OTP, they will be taken to the events page.
From the list, the user will choose the event he or she wants to attend. The person will upload a legitimate identification proof of the attendees after inputting all the necessary information for them.
With one registered mobile number, a person may reserve a maximum of ten tickets. Security personnel will scan the QR codes on each ticket at the parade location.
The Republic Day parade is also available for purchase offline at Gate No. 1 Pragati Maidan, Gate No. 2 Sena Bhawan, Gate No. 3 Shashtri Bhawan, and Main Gate Jantar Mantar.
