After a protracted fight with a brain tumour and cancer, Jaya Sawant, the mother of Rakhi Sawant, passed away. Rakhi announced the news on Instagram. In a Mumbai hospital where she was receiving treatment, Jaya passed away. Rakhi recently updated followers on her mother’s health while posting pictures and videos from the hospital. Additionally, she had asked followers to pray for her mother. Sunday will be the day of the funeral (January 29).
“With a tremendous grief, I Rakhi Sawant inform you of the sudden passing of my dear mother,” she stated in a statement. Many of you are aware of her medical issues, but I’m sorry to report that she has passed away. tomorrow join us for the funeral service of my mother at 12:00 afternoon.”
Social media is flooded with videos of Rakhi and her family outside the hospital, in which the actor can be heard sobbing and repeating, “My mother has left me.” She also started crying while her mother’s body was being hauled away by an ambulance.
