The Dream Girl 2 teaser shows the new ‘Dream Girl’ getting a call from Pathaan who says his new film Jawan will be releasing soon.
Dream Girl 2 stars Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday, who have debuted the trailer for the movie. Released on the night of Valentine’s Day, it teases the new Dream Girl without revealing her face, but it is clear that Ayushmann is this time dressing up as a girl in addition to speaking in a girl’s voice. The teaser begins with a woman sitting on the bed with her back to the camera while wearing a lehenga and a glittery backless top. ‘Pathaan’ calls her and wishes her a happy Valentine’s Day. She talks to him while applying her cosmetics. He tells her, “meri Jawan aa aarahi hai (my Jawan is releasing)” and inquires as to her arrival time. She also states that she will arrive on July 7th.
Ayushmann’s trailer received the following fan comment: “What a marketing bro, advertised 3 movies.” “Looks like SRK will have a cameo in this movie,” another user commented. Jawan, Shah Rukh’s upcoming movie, will debut on June 2.
Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Vijay Raaz, Seema Pahwa, and Rajpal Yadav all appear in Dream Girl 2. Under the auspices of Balaji Telefilms Limited, the movie was produced by Ektaa R. Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor and directed by Raaj Shaandilya. It is the follow-up to the popular 2019 movie Dream Girl, in which Nushrratt Bharuccha and Ayushmann featured. Ayushmann portrayed a hotline caller in the movie who could transform his voice into a girl’s voice.
Originally set for release on June 23, Satya Prem Ki Katha, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, will now open one week early on June 29.
Ayushmann previously stated in a statement about the sequel to the Dream Girl film series, “I am ecstatic for Dream Girl 2! This is my second film with Balaji Motion Pictures, and I appreciate Ektaa’s efforts to expand the series and move it ahead. It’s thrilling to work with Raaj once more because I’ve discovered a buddy in him. I’ve been matched with Ananya Panday, and I can’t wait to see how the public responds to our chemistry.”
